Concrete Car-park #4 - Daily Delivery...
A dull damp day forecast and with no tripod, it is back to this occasional series, this time in daylight and above ground for the first time.
My 10-24mm ultrawide zoom was about claim damages of neglect and so I thought I'd get some monochrome angles, showing the ordinariness of everyday life. And what could be more ordinary than a supermarket truck (other supermarkets are available...) unloading milk and nappies...
Sent the order off for the tripod part - true, it is just a moulded plastic collar that must cost pence to produce but I'm delighted with the service - and cost. Considering you can spend £20 on an on-the shelf current lens cap from a named camera maker, £6.05 for a specialised part, plus VAT, plus a standard £3.50 P&P is still quite a bargain - and well worth it considering just how much I use my lovely Manfrotto. And it's fitted by only a few turns of a couple of Phillips screws.
So, in the meantime, it'll be daylight shots, though I can use the tripod at restricted height, but as I'm 6'2" that's not something I relish!
