Farrah's First Football Foray

The little two have decided to join 'Coach Dave's' football class. I went over to check they were ok and found Farrah and one other little girl with lots of boys. Normally my girl is really confident and Rory the shy one, but in this situation the roles were reversed. She asked me to stop, so I did.

We are quite split down the middle in sporting ability in our house. Rory takes after Callum, with his natural sporting ability making him one of the best there. He won a sticker for being the best. Farrah won a sticker for really trying. Like Liam, her ability is a little less, but they are both more than willing to get stuck in and give it a go. And that is really what it's all about.

Later the kids were disappointed not to have seen any fireworks, so The Dazzler decided we would take a walk out to see some. We walked to our local park to watch everyone elses, and it would have been really quite special, if it weren't for the local running club dashing past, like herds of gazelles, every 5 minutes....
