Scotland Food and Drink Conference

At the HQ of the Royal Bank of Scotland today to hear from James Withers, of Scotland Food and Drink, about revised targets for the industry.

SF&D had gathered together a group of committed producers in the industry to talk about their experiences of exporting Scottish Food and Drink - with whisky of course being by far the biggest export for the country. An interesting afternoon.

However, ideas that I'd be back in time to help the kids get out to go guising were thwarted by it taking 2 HOURS to get out of the area and back home. Don't know what happened to our integrated transport system this evening, but it was very chilly standing waiting for a bus.
