iPod

Yay! About a month ago I drove 'oop North' - kept company on the 2 x 4 hour drives by my trusty iPod - the original iPod video bought the year they were released. It has crossed Africa with me, been to Turkey, Ireland, Spain...

When I got back from Manchester it had disappeared. We went through the car countless times. Bum. £175 for a new one! Ouch... Couldn't afford that.

BUT travelling back up to Manchester for our 30th wedding aniv Heather (driving my car) slips her hand into the door pocket (which had been forensically searched previously) and finds my iPod!!!

Yay!!!

It's very scratched, dented, and high milage - but I really like it...

Is this how my Dad felt towards that old gramophone he used to love...?
