Evening light

Just a really quickie this evening as I'm full-on with my writing at the moment and hope to get to around 25k words tonight.

The picture is one of the smaller lakes where I often go to take photos.

I saw a green woodpecker that was poking insects through a hole in a tree, which I think contained young, the second clutch this year I imagine.

The weather is very warm, which has brought out the mosquitos and there was a group of swifts and swallows skimming the lake earlier.

The weather is set to get quite warm again tomorrow, around 22°c, which is not at all bad for November.
