Hospital Visit

What a 24 hours I've had. This little lady, Krystal, had me terrified last night :( She woke within an hour of going to bed, coughing and struggling to breath. The cough sounded croup like which is fine as she's had it before. But the breathing was scary. The more she cried, the more she coughed and the less she could breath, and the more she panicked and cried.

After 30 mins of this (and some Peppa Pig to try to calm her down) I called NHS 24 to see what I could do for her. They wanted to see her given her age, so off we trooped to hospital. She was seen fairly quickly, given some steroids and we came home. They seemed to work quickly and she was able to sleep (right beside her paranoid mummy!)

Today I've tried to avoid having her cry so as not to inflame it again. Going in the buggy wasn't something which pleased her today, so the iPod with games was given as a distraction. I'm amazed by how easily she moves around it between apps and just intuitively knows what to do in them! Even Blip I might add!
