Gerrit Bernardus Lalleman ...

His portrait in bronze is on the square near the church in Moordrecht. He is known as a fighter against child labor.

He was born on January the 29th 1820 and died in Naaldwijk on July the 14th 1901 in Amsterdam. He was headmaster of the Public School in Moordrecht for 43 years (1844-1887).
