This amazing cantilevered building is in all places Potterton, Aberdeenshire.

I have driven past it a few times but today with the trees shedding their leaves it was easier to see from the road. I stopped to take a couple of photographs and the owner came out to speak to me.

After I explained I run my own architecture practice, she very happy took me around the outside of the building so I could see it from the "field" side.

It's a beautiful building, and the current owner seems intent in bringing it back to its past glory. I hope they succeed!
