Henley in Arden

The big storm passed by without causing us much trouble. So our planned journey, me and Mum that is from her home in Maidenhead to ours in Dolgellau went ahead as planned. We stopped for lunch just off the M42 at Henley-in-Arden, neither of us having ever been there before. It seemed a delightful little town, and we found a very satisfactory tea rooms for some lunch. Another stop at Welshpool divided the journey into 3 segments. We just had to negotiate floods in a couple of places.
