Desolate Troon

Troon beach, with the tide out, was looking rather bleak and desolate this morning. We still enjoyed a bracing walk despite the icy wind, then headed back into Ayr to see the impressive Save The Children art exhibition in the Maclaurin Gallery. The café there serves very tasty empire biscuits!

Last night's concert at The Gaiety was a performance of song and dance by a Zimbabwean group called Black Umfolosi 5. Very entertaining they were too!
