A Very British Day Out

Just before the new A1 was opened between Haddington and Dunbar, there was a Sunday when you could walk along the newly-completed road.

Seems very bizarre looking back, but a strangely interesting thing to do.

Afterwards, we took the boys to The Drovers in East Linton, where the only space was in the restaurant upstairs. It was fairly staid, and I remember being overly strict and bad-tempered with the boys - who, after all, were only being boys.
