One of the drawbacks of living at the foot of Pikes Peak is that it casts a very big shadow! And that means that we lose the sun sooner than those who live on the east or north side of the city. We live on the southwest side, and this is a view to the north.
But then again, we have quick access to the lovely canyons and wildlife that come with the territory!
