Downton Abbey... sorry, Blenheim Palace

But you could forgive me for the mistake! Went to Blenheim as part of a work day - Blenheim is a World Heritage Site, just like our coastline - and got a tour round the Duke's gaff. Rather splendid, but clearly, they is well loaded!

The gardens, which are more my cup of tea, are by Capability Brown, and really are splendid... if a little forced. I caught this rather nice blip of the lake and bridge on my way out and thought I would share it with you.

Worth a visit? Well yes, especially the gardens.
