Jae's school parents' evening.
Tonight we attended Jae's first parents' evening for 6th form. As at every other parents' evening from reception onward, we were told that he is scarily quiet and never speaks in class. Jae is a very shy boy with people outside his family and circle of friends. I wouldn't wish for him to have a complete personality transplant - he is who he is - but we do need to work on building his confidence and encourage him to be a bit more outgoing, as it is holding him back. He also needs to get a bit more up to speed with the amount of work he has to do. He is capable, he just needs to put a bit more effort in!
His school, Lincoln Christ's Hospital, is an old, long established one with lots of history. This shot shows the Cloisters, where Jae sometimes eats his lunch. I always think it has a spooky air about it, as do many of the older parts of the school.
