Through the Glass Darkly

Met up with S after work for some housey stuff, ordering blinds and buying rugs. Then nipped in to the pub , just to get out of the rain, for a couple of pints and a bucket of wasabi peas. Don't I know how to give a girl a good time! Tried to leave but by then the rain was ridiculous and we did a quick u-turn at the door and sought consolation in another pint and a pile of nachos. Just got better and better! All good things and all that though, so we eventually had to venture home, only to get caught in yet another downpour. Basically it peed down and we arrived drookit at the front door. It's stopped now, of course!!
