Night Tricks

My Father taught me my first camera trick when I was a wee lad.

Shooting straight up and going for a long exposure. If I recall correctly the exposure then was 1 hour.

This was set up last night and I composed it so these trees, that i have used before, were a nice addition to it. I had to go for a short half hour exposure. I forgot the sprinklers go on at 5:15AM.

I love the color of the night meeting the city lights. I also am very happy with the little bit of motion to the trees. Looks a little fake.

Only adjustments to this was a tiny cropping, touch of contrast, and a dash of saturation pumped up.
