Last Second

I was putting out the bin last night and realised I hadn't taken a blip.

I knew it was just about midnight because a TV show I had been watching had just finished.

Rushed inside ..... the clock said I had about a minute
Dashed back out to shoot the snail climbing the house ...... camera wouldn't fire - no card
Rush inside and bung a card in
Flash control wrongly set ....... switch it over
Camera not focusing ............ low light assist switched off
Time running out - no time to go through menues
Flick to manual focus
Shit - can't see a freaking thing (pitch black out here)
Turn focus ring to about 1/3rd in............guess my distance and press the shutter.
Hope it is in time
