Worth a thousand words

nice photo of grass

Out at lunch time with a big lens looking for a kestrel. Walked for miles with an eye to the sky and nothing.
Headed back to work and I had a quick look back to see a kestrel heading passed me. Lifted the camera and struggled to unclip the lens. By the time I raised the lens I was just in time to see the kestrel swoop onto a perch and attack another kestrel I had completely missed. They both tumbled to the ground so I ran across a road jumped a fence lifted the lens and cracked off 4 shots before a crow joined in and they all flew off never to be seen again. So in the blip you can just make out two kestrels on the ground behind the nice sharp grass.
