Meeting Place..
..the view from the S end of the village, looking SW. The cliff here is known as Pulpit Rock, or The Meeting Place. I don't know the exact histories, but believe that when the church split, one group met below this rock.
Been a reasonable day, with an occasional shower, but breezy. Went down to B's holiday let to take some pictures of damage to the decoration after the last guests had stayed. Some bits of wood chip have been picked off, but could be touched up if he has some paint left over..
Croftcrafts and the Crofter came over and wanted some carrots and swede for soup. I had to do a little harvest for someone else, so went and did a small harvest. Got some nice small carrots and parsnips for my tea too.. Tanni had a run on the beach while we were down..
Egg run tonight. Haven't quite got into the winter routine yet, we're selling too many during the week to casual callers, and don't have enough left for a Friday night. We're a half dozen short tonight and will have to deliver those in the morning. They'll be fresh!!
Might have to have a beer in the pub too!!..
..Oh, and if anyone wants a croft, there's one for sale including the polytunnels on the right. Complete with outline planning permission..
