L'amour

I was ambling across Glasgow's squinty bridge today when this padlock caught my eye.

I was momentarily transported back to my summer holiday in Paris where there's a bridge bedecked with padlocks of love. I remember standing on that bridge, looking deep into hubby's eyes and saying "Look hubby, there's a man selling padlocks for 5 euros. Let's buy one and mark our eternal love for each other on this beautiful bridge under the Parisienne sunshine". His reply will remain forever in my heart. "Aye, that'll be right. 5 euros for a feckin' padlock!"
