Much Wenlock

A drive to Shropshire today, to meet some friends from South Wales for lunch, approximately half way. Much Wenlock is a delightful place even in the pouring rain. The lunch, at the Raven Hotel, was superb. After a crab starter I had a Casoulet of Pigs' Cheeks with Chorizo Sausage and Goats Cheese followed by a "deconstructed" Lemon Meringue Pie. Magnificent.

A short walk in the rain took in some lovely old buildings as well as odd street names.
