A Blue Peter Badge

This morning a very special envelope dropped onto our door mat. It's something James has been waiting and hoping for, for months... a sports Blue Peter badge.

A few months ago Blue Peter launched a sports initiative, whereby children who inspired others to get involved in sport or were inspired to take up a sport themselves, could apply for this sports badge. As James had recently started doing the Park Run, he wanted to apply. I have to say I didn't think we would be successful as apparently they got thousands of applicants, but the badge fairies were looking down on us!

He is very chuffed with himself!
