A hobble to harlaw
I had a horrible time at the walking wounded (a.k.a the minor injuries clinic) today. The nurse I saw was rude and abrupt she forcefully told me off for following the advice I was given in Iceland and ridiculed me when I told her that the Iceland doctors had been concerned I might have a stress fracture. Thankfully there is no lasting damage done other than bad soft tissue damage.
When I got an invitation to go out to harlaw, I decided to take it up even though I wouldn't be able to swim. The cold water was nice on the swelling when I did dip my feet in.
I found these little stones on a tree stump as I sat and watched whilst others swam.
