A couple of Posers

We had a lovely 3 hour walk at Loweswater this morning. Its been a long time since I've done that. The colours all around are at their best at the moment and it was a pleasure to be out and about. The labs had a great time and spent the first hour running non stop. The yellow lab is the mother and the black lab her daughter. The mother is the more energetic of the two and likes to be out in front.

On the way home I stopped off at the village post office a couple of miles from home only to find it closed and lots of police activity there. Heard on the local news later that there was an attempted robbery there. Everybody who works there is ok but its a bit of a shock as things like that just don't happen here!
