Monochrome flower

It's been a wee while since I blipped a flower in mono. I'm afraid I don't actually know what this is. My flatmate is a freelance theatre director, and one of the groups she has been working with had their performance today and they gave her a lovely bunch of flowers, including several of these. They are off white with purpleish bits in the centre and a thick dead straight stalk. I liked them in mono more as the lighting wasn't great and they seemed a bit grubby somehow when in colour.

Sylvia's funeral was today, a lovely service and the most beautiful rainbow at the graveside, just perfect for celebrating a life.
