Reflections of a Sunset

It is feeling more like November, the leaves are gone, the air is sharp (beyond crisp), the breeze bites a bit and the skies were tumultuous all day today. The color challenge word is Peachand I had hoped to get a Peach Sunset. I like the reflection better than the actual. It's the time of year when quiet reflection is easier to do. With "The Holidays" quickly approaching, it's easy to get caught up in the frenzy. Sit back, put on the tea or coffee pot, or pour a glass of wine, have an extra cookie and reflect on the true meaning.

My role in society, or any artist's or poet's role, is to try and express what we all feel. Not to tell people how to feel. Not as a preacher, not as a leader, but as a reflection of us all.
