Storm

Sunspot group AR1890 released an X1 class flare this morning although it lasted only very briefly and so will not cause much effect on the Earth. It also sent a CME into space which might catch our atmosphere a glancing blow on the 10th/11th of November. This may cause some polar geomagnetic activity. AR1890 has now generated several X class flares indicating that the Sun is currently very active.
