St Botolph, Bradenham

This village lies just off a very busy strategic route through Buckinghamshire but gives an air tranquility as you approach it. In summer when Cricket is being played on the green in front of the Church it looks very idyllic.

This Church stands prominently and the end of the triangular green, it dates from the 1500's and stands next to the Georgian (1718) Bradenham Manor, now owned by the National Trust but only open occasionally as it used as Offices. The tower contains 3 bells. Two of the bells are cast by Michael DeWymbis of London in circa 1290. It is possible that these 2 bells originated from a religious house prior to the dissolution. The bells are hung for swing chiming only.
