Aston Hall by Candlelight

So, this is where my blip adventure began, in the Long Gallery of Aston Hall.

Back in October 2011 I was working on the publicity for the Aston Hall by Candlelight event, which was going through a Victoria phase at the time (Queen Victoria visited there in the 1850's).

I no longer work on their publicity and can now enjoy the event as a member of the public. The Candlelight event has returned to it's Jacobean roots (see history of the Hall here), and this was one of the best I've been to.

On a technical note, taking pictures at such a low light event was a learning experience (despite all the tips I'd taken), so I'll be back for the next Candlelight on 2015 for a few more blips.
