Reflections.

I have been listening to BBC 4 Book Club - Jim Naughtie interviewing Hilary Mantel about 'Bring Up the Bodies'.

I haven't read any of Hilary Mantel's books but after listening to her speak about them, I very much want to and have added them to my reading list.

I found her musings about that history is always with us, the past and present intermingled, fascinating and so true. I believe that our past never leaves us, but informs us and is part of who we are in the here and now.

Hilary Mantel calls it a 'fluid frontier'.
