Impossible project

The cord on the light switch in the bathroom snapped. On taking the switch apart we find a veritable smorgasbord of vintage gizmos that have been going on merrily since the house was first built (so we think). Replacing this old-timer has taken us the best part of the day, and we're not quite done yet....On the other hand, we're quite done. If you know what I mean!
