But, then again . . . . .

The Usual Suspects.

We had a local art trail today, the first stop was to a quilt show run by the newly inaugurated “Peaceful Patchers” of Bonnyrigg, I’m not sure what’s wrong with Bonnyrigg but they chose Rosewell as their venue. Patch-workers are a friendly bunch so I don’t object to supporting them. There were some interesting pieces but it was only seeing a couple of school girls taking an interest that prevented me from completely overlooking these characters; we were pleased, and slightly surprised to learn that they played with dolls and dolls’ houses in this modern age, we were able to direct them towards some small quilts designed for use with dolls.
Reading from left to right, these were made by Pat, Hilary, Janice (3 times), and another Pat.

After that, it was to two venues over the road from us, to see the work of artists who we know quite well from dog walking, one of them being Mrs Meg.
All in all, quite a satisfactory day.

I have just back-blipped “Rose Hips” from yesterday and
Walking the Dog” from the day before.
