1934 Auburn 850Y Cabriolet

We noticed a large moving van in the Lowe’s parking lot at noontime.

One of the van's side doors was open from which a blue vintage car peeked out.

I thought it might be a Duesenberg, but in any case it needed closer inspection.

In fact, it is an Auburn and quite a special Auburn at that! (Rear View)

The truck driver told me this car is on its way up to its home on Whidbey Island, Washington.

The truck driver is also a fan of Auburns and Duesenbergs and he graciously allowed me to climb up on his rig for a few photos.

Such a pleasant interaction with quite a nice fellow.

P.S. Needless to say, the car hauler is a very cool truck as well.
