Market Square Heroes

After a pretty lazy day, tonight Annie and I have been into Aylesbury to see the band Marillion play live. Originally an Aylesbury band formed in the early 1980's, it is well over 20 years since they played their home town.

With a decent venue in the shape of the Waterside Theatre having been built since they last played, it was an amazing homecoming gig. Four encores and well over two hours of music, a really great evening. The band finished the night off with Market Square Heroes, their very first single and a track with a strong connection to the town as it is about our very own Market Square.
