Purple Iris and friend.

Had a lovely walk in our Botanic Gardens this morning. Was feeling brave and put my new camera on manual and took all sorts of odd shots under bushes and into the faces of ducks and flowers. Most of them came out not too badly or, at least, within tweaking distance. I particularly liked this little iridescent fly which obligingly stayed put long enough for me to get organised.
