Clean!

I had to record this because it's such a once in a lifetime thing...my kitchen being clean that is.
I have been working on a sort of reorganize / spring clean thing all week which started out with clearing the counters of all the randomness that shouldn't be there ( they did look lovely). And then, strangely, piling the contents of the cupboards and draws onto the lovely clear surfaces and making a right old mess!
The point being to actually see what's there and remove redundant "stuff". Then put it away in a way that makes sense when you're actually working in the kitchen. It has taken me days, much to Mr.Tex's dismay LOL but tonight I finally finished and sat back to enjoy the view :0)
(The bottom shelf of that see through cupboard holds more pretty Pyrex but they are our popcorn bowls and they were in the washing up, so not present for picture day, sorry pretty bowls but I couldn't risk waiting a day in case someone actually used the kitchen and messed it all up)
...and the odd patch that looks like a large smudge on my counter is actually a rather horrible melted section, a victim of no1 sons science experiment which exploded .. Oops!
Ok, now I can prove it was clean once so I'll take down the barbed wire and let the kids back in ;0)
