Face from the past

This is a doll made about 70 years ago -I can't remember whether I made her, or one of my sisters. She was one of many who took part in our games - mostly story telling round the dolls/ puppets. I remember they often lay forgotten as the story took hold! Also that most of the eyes sank into the heads in time because the material was so worn and the embroidered eyes so firmly stitched.
I found her in a box of bits of material. Can't bring myself to chuck her!
