A lady of observation

Lest we forget.

Shepreth Memorial was the centre piece for the villages remembrance service. Mister Smith and I attended. There were alot of villagers there paying their respects to the fallen of the two World wars. We all prayed for them and also for our brave servicemen and women who serve our country today.
A well respected villager read out the names on the memorial. Villagers laid a wreath and crosses.
One villager who is a Northern Ireland conflict veteran wore his beret and medals with pride.
It's people like this that make me proud to be British.

For they gave thier tomorrows so we could have our today.

We will remember them.
