My journey in Pictures

By Ella

Grebe Beach, Durgan

The sun shone today (well this morning) so we wandered down to Durgan and Grebe beach before setting of on the south coast path.. part of it has fallen away - you can see the tree lying on the beach below the cliff path..
Scary how the erosion is relentless...
It has turned colder now and we are huddled up in the warmth of our sitting room with the one heater on to keep us warm I haven't figured out the night storage heaters yet and the Chimney sweep cannot come for another 10 days - once he has swept the chimney I will be able to have a real fire... It reminds me of my grandmother's house where the only heat came from the coal fire and the rest of the house was like an ice box.. I need fingerless gloves so I can carry on typing my ecology notes.
