Annus mirabilis

Happy blipday to me! The culmination* of a project that began on a whim and has become (almost) an obsession. I don't mind saying, I'm rather proud of me for reaching this point.

I have spent all day looking for 'the one' (in a photographic sense!). Inevitably the muse - when directly invited - does not appear. This image, however, sums up my year in blip better than all others; if I kept my tags up to date the tag cloud would read: Edinburgh, building, sky, silhouette, trees....and so, for that reason, this is my blip.

*I should clarify...I'm certainly not stopping (I couldn't!) but I may now allow quality to overcome quotidian. That said, the first day without will be like a day without toothpaste....
