A Clean, Well-Light Place

Costco is a practical place, where you can get large quantities of everything from salmon to toilet paper in huge quantities. Also good craft beer and Italian cheese. What struck me, today, with Costco already gearing up for Christmas, is how bright the lights are in the place. It is a clean, well-lighted place (with apologies to Hemingway) to indulge in rational consumerism. Very seductive.
