A belated birthday outing into London this afternoon; a meal in a French brasserie followed by Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at the Theatre Royal.

This figure caught my eye on the theatre wall, which seemed to change expression depending on which angle you viewed it from. I thought this approach looked particularly melancholy.

As for the show itself; fantastic set design and effects, but I missed the original songs from the film! I'd give it a 6.
