Cruachan View

It was beautiful weather today so I tried to get out and about to capture some of it for you.

The mountain in the snow is Cruachan a place very dear to me but better known for it's hydro scheme. The title came from the name of a house I stayed in for a long time.

The knoll at the front of the shot is Dunadd, an Iron age fort believed to be the capital of Dal riata.

I liked this shot because it shows the first snows of winter here along with the late autumn colours. I hope you like it too.

Thanks very much for all the comments and support from my 300th blip birthday yesterday. It was very much appreciated and sent me into the spotlight for a second time. Woo Hoo
