First rosette

Katie is very proud of herself today - this is her with her first ballet rosette from the recent exam. They started work today on their freestyle and musical theatre rosettes too, which they will be examined for during an "open exam" performance on December 16th - i.e. Mummy can go watch their big stage performance, and its an exam at the same time!

The afternoon was lovely. A very old friend of mine (we worked out it was 13years since I saw him!) brought his family all the way from Tyneside for a family photo session. Including 6day old baby Grace. The 3 older children joined in some family pictures before going and playing with Katie while I continued for some individuals of Grace. Who, I should add, has spent the last 5 days sleeping, the whole time. Today she chose to be awake for 6 hours in one spell. The 6hours that I was attempting to photograph her!

Late afternoon, Katie's little friend came round for a play too. The five of them played so nicely. When her friend had gone home, we all headed out for tea. All in all, a fab day!
