Goodbye

John is giving Beano a final hug before he embarks on his long journey back to Edinburgh.

I have been so grateful to John for being here.

He has managed to make a very difficult situation slightly easier.

It has also been reassuring for him to see his dad improving each day.

I will miss him, and so will Beano.
