Transportation success

Out with the cycling club today, despite sore throat and aching limbs. It was such a beautiful day I wanted to get out on my bike. It was the clubs first wintery ride and fantastic it was too! We went to Fermyn Woods for tea and whilst there I spotted these little chaps for sale. I persuaded Mr PB that he could manage a little one home in his saddle bag, I carefully wrapped him up in napkins and then in the spare gloves etc we had with us and we put him safely in the bag. Yeah, bumpy miles later he is home in tack.

The rest of the afternoon was spent cleaning out hens, chopping wood (Mr PB not me!) and general tidying up the garden.
