GLOW Bulbture

Tonight we invited our parents over to our appartment for a nice dinner. Afterwards we drove to Eindhoven to visit the first night of this year's GLOW festival.
This light festival shows varying artistic and creative ways of using light in art. I really like this sculpture and the setting it was placed in. About 6,000 light bulbs combined into this piece. A smaller number of them could be turned on and off using the cords hanging from it. Interactive and charming.

Tonight my girlfriend used our Sony Alpha 58 to try it out at dark environments. Stay tuned at her blipfoto blog to see which photo she chose.
