Field Patterns
Nice lazy morning, this morning. Just listening to the raido and doing bits and pieces with photographs on the computer. In the afternoon, we went out to take the mother-in-law for afternoon tea. We tried somewhere new - a tea room at a farm shop. When we got there, it seemed to have gone upmarket - the farm shop had closed and the tearoom was a restaurant, complete with smart waiters and waitresses and lots of beautifully laid tables.
It was a good cup of tea though and the cakes were nice too. The menu looked quite promising, and I have a feeling we'll be going back for lunch at some point.
After that, we went to a local viewpoint, which has extensive views, sweeping round from Plymouth in the South, Dartmoor in the East and then swinging round to the distances of North Cornwall. This view is looking North, and it was the pattern of trees in the field hedges which caught my attention.
