Autumn Leaves

What a lovely day weather wise today. A beautiful crisp sunny Autumnal Sunday. This morning was mine and hubby's turn to help out in one of the sunday school classes at church and what a great bunch of 4-5 year olds we have. There were a total of 12 in the class today and thankfully, they were all on their best behaviour.

Once the service and sunday school finished we caught up with a few friends over a cuppa and then headed off home. As the weather was so nice, we decided to stop off at Roath Park for a little walk in the sunshine and of course, for me to grab a few shots!

There were lots of folk there with the same idea too! Sadly, the lake wasn't looking it's best as it is in the process of being dredged and the water level was very low indeed. There were 3 herons there enjoying some of the water in the middle of the lake though.

The colours of the trees there were beautiful and I thought I would try and be a bit creative with some of the fallen leaves. I hope you like my little creation!!!
