Catching Some Rays
It is a beautiful autumn day today. Yesterday I saw several Maple trees starting to turn red and gold. It seems far too early in the calendar year for that to be occurring, but alas seasons come and seasons go.
I'm blipping early today because I've been hoping to capture the sunlight in this cut glass sun-catcher that a friend brought me earlier this summer. It's truly a beautiful gift, with its beaded hanger attached to an antique crystal plate and colorful cut glass pieces to catch the wind and the light. I wish I was out in a canoe or kayak right now catching some rays...but instead I am watching pots of liquid soap cook and working on my to-do list. It's really all fine though, I'm doing what I love.
